April Events!

We are planning a couple of service opportunities for Spring Break.
Monday, April 9th we will be joining the Rowdies on our church campus to assist them in any way we can. We will meet at 8am and they will provide donuts for breakfast. They start promptly at 8am with a devotion, so please be on time. Some of the projects that day may include paint and dirt, so have your child wear close-toed shoes and clothes that can get dirty. We should be done around 10am.

Wednesday, April 11th we will be visiting the Los Angeles Rescue Mission. We will be participating in their program called “A Day at the Mission” which will give us the opportunity to take a tour of the facility to learn about the ministry that is done there and we will also have the opportunity to serve alongside their staff serving meals and distributing clothes and blankets to those who visit the Mission. You can find out more about the ministry at L.A. Mission by visiting http://www.losangelesmission.org. The cost is $45, plus some cash in case we need to stop for a meal on the way home. Please let me know if you have further questions about this event.

On Sunday mornings, beginning April 15th, we will be studying Acts. I hope we will all be inspired by the energy and excitement in the stories we read of the first Christians figuring out how to make their way in the world. It will be great!

Wednesday nights will continue to be lots of fun!
April 4th is Game and Grub night–meet at 6pm at Carl’s Jr.
April 11th NO FOUND, we will be at the L.A. Rescue Mission all day
April 18th Worship and Grub night–meet at 6pm at Carl’s Jr.

Lots of Photos!

We’ve been up to some fun stuff since August.

First, we went to camp at Forest Home. Creekside was amazing! We had a blast hanging out, eating conquering the Adventure Mountain Sundae, zip lining, worshiping Jesus and learning more about Him together. Camp pretty much rules.
